VIBRO FLEX VBS
VIBRO FLEX Braided Stainless Steel Flexible Connectors absorb and relieve stress caused by piping misalignment, thermal expansion, and minor installation inaccuracies.
How They're Built
Each connector features two core components:
- Corrugated stainless-steel inner tube — delivers the flexibility your piping system needs
- Stainless-steel wire braid outer layer — provides reinforcement, strength, and pressure resistance
What They Do for Your System
Together, these components:
- Extend the durability of your piping system
- Reduce mechanical noise transmission
- Isolate vibration effectively
Where They Work Best
VIBRO FLEX connectors are ideal for systems connected to pumps, compressors, and other pulsating or rotating equipment, anywhere vibration isolation and noise control are critical.
Install them once and protect your system's performance and equipment life for the long term.
VIBRO FLEX VSEJ
VIBRO FLEX Stainless Steel Expansion Joints primarily absorb dimensional changes in pipelines caused by thermal movement. The bellows are formed from thin-walled stainless-steel tubing, making them more efficient than other pipe movement solutions like pipe loops or slip-type joints. Pipe loops occupy excessive space, while slip joints demand frequent maintenance. Additionally, both can only accommodate axial movement. VIBRO FLEX bellows expansion joints, in contrast, are compact, maintenance-free, and capable of absorbing multiple types of movement.
VIBRO FLEX bellows expansion joints are available with flanged, welded, grooved, or threaded ends. Internal liners protect the bellows' inner surface from erosion and reduce vibrations caused by fluid flow. Additional options include tie rods for movement control and shrouds that shield the bellows in buried installations. For proper anchoring and guiding of pipelines with expansion joints, and to avoid extension or buckling due to pressure thrusts, consult Akinco for expert guidance.
