VRSF flexible expansion joints provide full solutions to vibration isolation, noise reduction, and movement absorption in challenging piping systems. These rubber joints are designed to perform better in water supply networks, chemical processing plants, power generation plants and marine installations and are made of high-quality materials with high precision in manufacturing to guarantee long-term performance. The expansion joints have a complex multi-layered design that is attained by the vulcanization technology. The inner layer employs application-specific rubber compounds such as NR, SBR, IIR, NBR, EPDM, CR and FKM, which are chosen depending on the chemical compatibility and temperature demands of the conveyed medium. The reinforcement layer is made of high-strength nylon cord fabric, which offers outstanding pressure resistance and structural integrity in different operating conditions. The outer protective layer uses aging resistant polar rubber that is developed to resist environmental exposure, UV radiation and corrosive atmospheres.
